A Taste of Pengani
My family and I were recently blessed to be able to spend a couple of days at the coast. An area called Pengani. What a wonderful time to just regroup and refocus… surrounded by God’s beautiful creation! A constant reminder that He is Good.

This I recall to my mind; therefore have I hope.

It is of Jehovah’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.

Jehovah is my portion, saith my soul;

Therefore will I hope in him.

Jehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

It is good that a man should hope

and quietly wait for the salvation of Jehovah.

summertime
Even though it’s technically winter here in Tanzania, there are still opportunities to get some summery-looking shots! Since summertime is drawing to a close in the states right now, I thought I’d post a few pictures I’ve taken recently that sorta say “summer” to me. =)
I’ve started watermarking my pictures, because unfortunately I’ve already had some copyright infringement. Some guy stole one of my pictures off my facebook page and used it as his profile picture! Not the sharpest… I sent him a message about it but he just changed profile pictures and “un-fanned” himself. Anyway, I guess I need to be more careful about pictures from now on.
Fall
Autumn is such a wonderful time for vivid color! I’m always drawn to plants as subjects, as they usually cooperate pretty well (compared to people!) and there are so many different ways to capture them. Here are a few of my recent fall shots. : )
- Beautiful fall leaf!
- Colorful crunchy leaves
- Tennessee country road
- Friendly little scarecrow
- Nice day for a walk
- Gotta love trees!

Welcome to my photoblog! My goal is to be able to share my passion for photography with others and to periodically upload some of my latest pictures. I’m planning on developing several different pages such as “people & portraits,” “landscapes & scenery,” “animals,” “birds, bugs & botany,” and “odds & ends.”
Feel free to look around!
